A staffing issue has prompted the cancellation of several sailings on the Port Townsend/Coupeville ferry route.

The 8:45 a.m. sailing from Port Townsend and the 9:30 a.m. sailing from Coupeville were cancelled due to the lack of a qualified crew, according to information provided by Washington State Ferries.

The Salish will be back in service with the 10:15 a.m. sailing from Port Townsend and the 11 a.m. sailing from Coupeville.
