The Oak Harbor High School volleyball team breezed by Getchell 3-0 Tuesday, Oct. 20, in Marysville, keeping pace in the hunt for a district tournament berth.

The Wildcats won 25-17, 25-20, 25-14.

Claire Anderson recorded 12 kills, five aces, two blocks and 16 digs in the win. Annabelle Whitefoot added eight kills, three aces and 10 bigs; Geslyne Barreta had nine kills and 11 digs; Janae Payne finished with 35 assists; and Priya Osborne fired four aces.

Seven Wesco 3A teams qualify for district; Oak Harbor (5-4, 5-6) sits in a tie for fifth with three matches remaining.

The Wildcats host Everett (3-6, 4-8) at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22.
