Oak Harbor’s Joanna Leete teamed with a Snohomish High School golfer to win the Harbour Pointe Top Two Best Ball Tournament hosted by Kamiak High School Monday, April 21.
Ten schools entered two golfers in the tournament, and teams consisted for two players from two different schools.
Oak Harbor’s Resego Mooki also played, joining a Lynnwood golfer to finish seventh with a 91.
Leete’s team trailed by one stroke after shooting a 41 on the front nine, then shot 40 on the back side to finish with an 81 and a three-stroke lead over the second-place duo.
Leete, Mooki and the remainder of the Oak Harbor girls team travels to the Lynnwood Golf Course to face Glacier Peak and Meadowdale at 3 p.m. Tuesday, April 22.
