Registration is going on now for winter quarter for returning students at Skagit Valley College. Winter quarter begins Monday, Jan. 7 at all SVC locations: Mount Vernon campus, Whidbey Island campus in Oak Harbor, South Whidbey Center in Clinton, San Juan Center in Friday Harbor, as well as online.

Registration for new students begins Monday, Nov. 19. In preparation, the SVC Admissions Office encourages all new students to apply now and begin the admissions process. A free orientation session will be held Jan. 4 at which students can meet faculty and staff and learn helpful strategies for a successful first quarter.

Open enrollment starts on Tuesday, Dec. 4.

For students who want to train for a new career or upgrade their job skills, SVC offers 25 professional/technical programs aligned with industry standards. Winter quarter openings are available in multimedia and interactive technology, office administration and accounting technologies and manufacturing.
