Here's what's happening at Whidbey Island art venues.

The Best of the SEATTLE INTERNATIONAL COMEDY COMPETITION and BrewHaHa featuring Drew Barth will take place from 7:30-9:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 14, at Whidbey Island Center for the Arts in Langley. All seats cost $22. Visit wicaonline.org for details.

ROB SCHOUTEN GALLERY presents “Into the Garden.” The exhibit will be on display through Feb. 29. “Into the Garden” is a rare opportunity to see a complete selection of Schouten’s prints, both of earlier watercolors and more recent oil paintings. All Schouten prints will be discounted by 10 percent through the month of February. In addition to the featured exhibit, the works of 30 gallery artists will also be shown.

Work from the OAK HARBOR HIGH SCHOOL ART DEPARTMENT will be on display at Oak Harbor City Hall during the month of February.

Helen Bates and Renee Le Verrier exhibit their paintings at OAK HARBOR LIBRARY in February. The library is located at 1000 SE Regatta Dr. Call 675-5115.

Michele Kempees is PENN COVE GALLERY’S featured artist for February. Completely self-taught, Michele started her artist journey while still in high school. Although Michele uses various art media she has settled on watercolor as her favorite. Her favorite subject is people.
