The Oak Harbor Kiwanis invites the community to its 20th annual Easter Sunrise Service at 7 p.m. April 4. Speaker will be Pastor David Lura of the First United Methodist Church, with special music by Lance Gibbon. A free will offering will be taken to benefit Help House. The nondenominational service will be held at Windjammer Park, near the windmill. Bleachers will not be available so bring your own folding chair if desired. If the weather is bad, the service will move inside the First United Methodist Church, 1050 SE Ireland Street. Call 675-6614.

Christian Reformed welcomes everyone

The Christian Reformed Church invites everyone to their Easter Service, Sunday, April 4, at 10 a.m. Join us for special music and vocal ensemble. Sermon message is titled, “Why Do You Look for Living Among the Dead?” The church is located at 1411 Wieldraayer Road, Oak Harbor. Call 675-2881.

Cantata and sunrise service for Methodists

The Oak Harbor First United Methodist Church, 1050 SE Ireland St., will be celebrating Easter Sunday, April 4, with a Special Choir Cantata presented during both the 8:30 and 10 a.m. worship services. Pastor David Lura will be speaking at the 7 a.m. Sunrise Service (sponsored by the Kiwanis Club) at Windjammer Park near the windmill. The inclement weather site is at First United Methodist Church.

Churches join for Easter

Word of Everlasting Life and Faith Church will join Island Christian Church on Easter Sunday, April 4, for an Easter Sunday Breakfast which will start at 8:30 a.m. and then Worship Service which will start at 10 a.m.

All are invited to attend and have a great time in the Lord celebrating the Resurrection of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Island Christian Church holds their Worship Services at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 3259 Old Goldie Road, Oak Harbor. Easter Brunch at New Covenant

The community is invited to an Easter Brunch this Sunday, April 4, at New Covenant Fellowship.

The Brunch will begin at 12:15 p.m. following the Sunday morning service which starts at 10:30 a.m. New Covenant Fellowship is located 2 miles south of Oak Harbor at 29470 SR 20. Call 679-1678.

A Presbyterian Holy Week

Baptism Renewal Service: Saturday, April 3, at 7 p.m. This service provides an opportunity to renew your baptismal vows or celebrate with fellow parishioners who are.

Easter Sunday Worship: Services will be held at 9:30 and 11 a.m. April 4. Both services will be filled with inspiring music as we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord.

On Easter Sunday, April 4, the Sunrise Service at 7 a.m. will be followed by a breakfast at 7:30, hosted by the United Methodist Men. The traditional service will be held at 11 a.m.

Unitarian look at Easter

Because Unitarian Universalists have Christians, Jews, atheists, agnostics, pagans, Buddhists and others in their congregations, they consider many perspectives on Easter. Rev. Easter Service at Grace Orthodox

Sovereign Grace Orthodox Presbyterian Church will be hosting an Easter morning breakfast on Sunday, April 6, at 9 a.m. The delicious breakfast will be followed by the Easter morning worship service, which begins at 10:30 a.m. All visitors are welcome to attend these events. Sovereign Grace OPC meets at the Seventh Day Adventist Church facility located at 31830 Highway 20, Oak Harbor, near Home Depot.
