Friday, Sept. 4
At 12:15 a.m., a NE Seventh Avenue resident reported that a neighbor must be scared because she is playing “a tape of relatives when they were children.”
At 3:32 a.m., a caller reported that a drunk driver was in the drive-through lane of a NE Midway Boulevard business.
Thursday, Sept. 3
At 9:31 a.m., a Highway 20 resident reported receiving a call and hearing what “sounded like a female breathing on the line.”
At 11:58 a.m., an accident involving a city of Oak Harbor truck and a black Ford Bronco was reported at the intersection of Highway 20 and SE Pioneer Way.
At 1:12 p.m., a resident of SE Fidalgo Avenue reported that her husband attacked her after an argument.
At 2:50 p.m., an employee at a SE Pioneer Way bank reported that a suspicious man in a motorized wheelchair entered the building, but only looked at brochures and wrote things down.
At 4:07 p.m., a SW Freund Street resident reported that his 22-year-old brother spit in his face and threatened a friend.
At 5:11 p.m., a caller reported that two toddler girls were running along on SE Ely Street.
At 5:23 p.m., a sheen was reported on the water at the Oak Harbor marina.
At 7:43 p.m., a caller reported that two kids were riding on the sideboards of a Chevrolet Tahoe at the high school.
At 9:06 p.m., a caller reported that someone covered a truck in Saran wrap on SE Bayshore Drive.
Wednesday, Sept. 2
At 11:26 a.m., a SE Eighth Avenue caller reported that a young opossum keeps coming into the apartment complex and going under cars. The caller said the animal acts aggressive.
At 12:42 p.m., a caller requested that a police officer speaks with kids at the skate park about swearing.
At 10:35 p.m., a caller reported that a group of 17-20 teenagers congregated at a location on Highway 20. The caller saw one kid punching another in the head.
Tuesday, Sept. 1
At 8:20 a.m., a caller reported that an elderly woman was walking down NW Heller Street in her pajamas.
At 8:48 a.m., a caller reported that a woman was sleeping in a Jeep Cherokee parked with the motor running at SE City Beach Street.
At 9:29 a.m., a caller reported that two men were sleeping in a car parked at a NW Midway Boulevard parking lot.
At 3:21 p.m., a caller reported that someone was using an area behind a SE Midway Boulevard building as a bathroom.
At 6:14 p.m., a E. Sleeper Road resident reported that a neighbor was shooting cats with a rifle.
Sunday, Aug. 30
At 7:27 p.m., a caller reported that a group of teenagers were fighting on N. Oak Harbor Street.
Saturday, Aug. 29
At 9:59 a.m., an employee at a bank on NE Midway Boulevard reported that a man threatened to wear a mask and bring a gun to a bank branch to get the money they owed him. The police contacted the man, who said he didn’t mean to be threatening.
At 10:55 p.m., an employee at a business on Highway 20 reported that a man sitting in a chair outside the store refused to leave. The man had a computer and was using the wireless Internet access.
