Oak Harbor High School’s home football game with Rogers this Friday will start at 7:30 p.m. instead of the standard 7 p.m.
“With Rogers having to travel from Puyallup, we moved the time back to accommodate their students,” Oak Harbor High School Athletic Director Nicki Luper said.
Oak Harbor (3-0) moved into the state 3A rankings this week. The AP poll listed Oak Harbor tied for seventh with Bellevue. Wesco North foes Squalicum and Ferndale are ranked third and fourth.
The Wildcats are ninth in the Seattle Times poll; Ferndale is fourth and Squalicum sixth.
Rogers, a 4A school, is 0-3. The Rams have played a strong schedules against teams with a combined 8-1 record. One of the loses was to third ranked Graham-Kapowsin.
