Two police sources confirmed the shooter died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, the Seattle Times is reporting.
According to our sister paper, The Everett Herald, unconfirmed reports indicate a person approached a table in the cafeteria and started shooting students.
“The Marysville Pilchuck High School is currently in lock down due to an emergency situation,” said a statement released by Marysville school officials shortly after 11 a.m.”
Police and emergency services have responded.
