A huge thank you to North Whidbey Little League, the City of Oak Harbor and all the Naval personnel who participated in making the July 13-21 Washington State Little League 9-10 Baseball Tournament a tremendous success.

Windjammer Park was the site of the 9-day Little League 9-10 Baseball State Tournament hosted by Washington District 11 and North Whidbey Little League. There were 13 teams, one from each district in the state.

There were a total of 25 games. Players, managers and coaches were fed after each game they played. That’s a total of 700 meals.

Fields had to be prepped, scorekeepers, announcers, pitch counters and untold other tasks needed to be accomplished for each of the games to make the experience a success for the players. This was completed without a hitch.
