David W. Petitclerc, 41, of Oak Harbor, formerly of Anacortes, passed away Feb. 14, 2003, at his home in Oak Harbor. He was born Oct. 29, 1961, in Springfield, Ore., to Thomas and Nancy (Munhall) Petitclerc.
David was a very caring person who would lend a hand to anyone if one was needed. He loved the outdoors and would do anything just to be outside.
His favorite things were working on cars, hunting, and fishing. He deeply loved his family and friends. He was a loving, caring father and cared very deeply for the mother of his child. He was and always will be loved by many. He will be deeply missed by all. We love you David. David was preceded in death by his brothers, Greg Petitclerc and Tommy Petitclerc, and by his sister, Tina Salsman. He is survived by his parents, Thomas W. and Nancy A. Petitclerc of Anacortes; his brother, Larry G. Petitclerc of Anacortes; his sisters, Terry A. Fey and Kathy J. Krapf, both of Anacortes; his children, Jacob Petitclerc, Zachary Petitclerc, and Amandalyn St. John-Petitclerc; his true love, Michelle St. John of Oak Harbor; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Due to financial hardships, any donations to help with his arrangements and initial help for Michelle and Amanda may be made to Wells Fargo Bank, c/o the memorial account for David Petitclerc. We are grateful. Thank you. Arrangements are in the care of Evans Funeral Chapel, Anacortes.
