The Port of Coupeville will use a donated Greenbank Farm logo design for the next 90 days while gathering input from the public on possible alterations.
The logo was donated by graphic designer Scott Rosenkrantz after he did work for Commissioner William Bell that was not authorized by the board.
Rosenkrantz donated the logo itself and not the working file, so any alterations to the logo will be billed to the port.
The part of the logo in question is the use of the words “arts and events center” at the bottom of the logo.
Greenbank Farm events coordinator Kristi O’Donnell said she feels the logo precludes some major parts of the farm and would like to see something else used.
The board agreed to use the logo for the next 90 days and seek public input on any alterations the port may make.
