Christopher Trindle

Born Feb. 27, 1961, to George and Cecile Trindle, Christopher Creel Trindle, Sr. lived a life full of wisdom that he shared until his passing on May 12, 2012 in Island Hospital, where he was surrounded by his loved ones.

He supported his one-love, Debbie, and their four children throughout his 21 year career in the Navy, when he retired in 2001 as a First Class Parachute Rigger. He loved spending time with his family in the outdoors of their Oak Harbor home of 14 years, pushing to be a part of his children’s lives, in which he bestowed unconditional love.

Diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2001, Chris kept strong for the 11 years he lived with his progressive disease, telling his family, “I’m only here for you guys.” He prepared his family for the day that God would take him to be guided for eternity to come. When he was ready to pass he told his family, “I’m sorry, I let you go.”

Though his body is gone from this earth, his life, legacy and wisdom still lives, as do the feelings of warmth and love that still fill our hearts today.

He is survived by his wife, Deborah; four children, Michael, John, Christopher Jr. and Caroline; and three grandchildren.
