Born April 9, 1950, to Purdencio and Sophia Briones in Kalibo Aklan Panay, Philippines, Mediadora Briones Morrison passed away on Aug. 21 in Coupeville.

She married Samuel Morrison Jr. on Jan. 15, 1977, at St. Joseph Cathedral in Olong Apo City, Philippines. She is survived by her husband, Samuel Morrison Jr.; three sons, Glen (Teresa), John (Jennifer) and Robert (Mercedita) Morrison; one grandson, Ryan Morrison; five sisters, Teodorica Briones, Delores Bell, Maria Briones, Marge Briones and Grace Collins; and one brother, Ricky Briones.

Private family services will be held with her final resting place to be in Pook Kalibo Aklan Panay, Philippines. Donations may be made in her name to the United Cancer Fund.
