Catherine Dorothy Schult, born in the Bronx, N.Y., on Wednesday, July 1, 1936, to Edward and Catherine Hall (née Durney), passed away at the age of 79 on Friday, June 17, 2016, surrounded by family.

Catherine and her family moved to Oak Harbor 35 years ago. She loved the community and helped people as a home care aide. She lived and raised her family with love and compassion.

Catherine is survived by her beloved husband of 59 years, Theodor Schult, and her four children, Anita, Steven and wife Makenna, Donna and Scott.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Catherine Hall, and her siblings, Edward N. Hall and Margaret Vittie.

There will be a private graveside service held at Maple Leaf Cemetery in Oak Harbor.
