Walter Meyers age 69 of Oak Harbor passed away suddenly at his home on July 27, 2011.

A former Whidbey Island Naval Air Station pilot, Walter went on to serve Delta Airlines for 32 years and resided in New Orleans, Dallas Fort Worth and Oak Harbor.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Donna.

A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 20, at the Oak Harbor Lutheran Church at 2 pm.
