Clifford Renmore Tivy, 90, died Oct. 6, 2004, in Coupeville. He was born Aug. 16, 1914, in Manitoba, Canada, to Robert and Eunice Tivy. He married Gladys (Ann) Tacey in 1942, in Canada.

He served in the Royal Canadian Air Force during World War II and joined the Masons while living in Canada. He was also a member of the Rod and Gun Club. Mr. and Mrs. Tivy moved from Bellevue, Wash. to Whidbey Island 25 years ago.

His wife Gladys, of 62 years, of Lagoon Point; two brothers, Fred Oakley of Kamloops, British Columbia and Jack Tivy of Alberta, Canada; and three nephews survive him.

There will be no services. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
