Victor Charles Slough

Longtime Whidbey Island resident, Victor Slough, 91, died at Careage of Whidbey July 24, 2006. He was born April 19, 1915 in Hubbard County, Minn., to Charles and Anne (Scott) Slough.

Vic led a very full, healthy life and he loved working with his hands. He built his own house. He could fix anything. Vic loved fishing, cooking, crossword puzzles and spending time with friends and family.

Vic is survived by his wife of 22 years, Arlet, at the family home, along with step-sons Clarence and David Dillard and step-grandchildren Christa Laukaitis, Tara Dillard, Zachary Dillard and Joseph Dillard.

Masonic services for Vic will be held Monday, July 31, at 1 p.m. at Burley Funeral Chapel in Oak Harbor.
