Bruce was born on Jan. 25, 1964, and died all too soon on Feb. 22, 2016, in Kelowna, B.C. Bruce was a family man, devoted to his loving daughters Alyssa and Samantha, and Alyssa’s best friend Ali (Shrimp) Lea. He will be missed dearly by his sister Cheryl Holmes, brother Kirk Rempel, mother Myrtle-Anne Rempel, father Edward Rempel, nephew Derek Holmes and nieces Meredith Holmes and Shae-Lynn Rempel.

We will all remember him for his kindness and sense of humour, especially on the golf course. Bruce loved all things Kelowna: skiing, tennis, hockey, water-skiing, listening to rock music and just hanging out with his daughters.

The family is grateful for the exemplary care he received in his final days at Kelowna General Hospital ICU, and gifts in his memory may be made to the Kelowna Hospital Foundation.
