STGCM Anthony (Tony) Martucci (USN, Ret.) died on Saturday, Dec. 17 from an apparent heart attack near his home in Chesapeake, Va. He was 54.

Tony was a member of the IUSS Alumni Association and was twice stationed at the former Naval Facility (now NOPF) Whidbey Island, first in 1988 until 1991 and then again in 1994 to 1998. He retired from active duty after 30 years of service in June, 2000.

Tony is survived by his wife, Lt. Drema (Parsons) Martucci (USN), his son Manuel (Manny) Martucci (OH High School class of 1993) of Nigeria, his parents Anthony G. and Josephine C. Martucci of Cooperstown, NY, a sister Barbara Martucci, and four brothers, Joseph, James, Richard and Frederick Martucci.

A graveside service with full military honors will be conducted at 9 a.m. Feb. 2, at Arlington National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association or to the Diabetes Foundation. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.
