Kathleen Marley, 62, of Coupeville, passed away of cancer Oct. 16, 2014, at her home.
She was born Oct. 7, 1952, in Aurora, Ill., to Richard and Norma Nauert. She was married to Larry Marley. Kathleen worked in Civil Service and was a volunteer for the Island County Sheriff’s Office for four years.
She was the secretary for the Central Whidbey Lion’s Club and was the scoutmaster for more than 10 years for the Boy Scouts Troop 4053.
She loved spending time and going out with her family and friends. She also liked to watch movies and go to the casino.
One of her requests was not to have a service. The family is honoring her wishes and no services will be held.
She is survived by her husband, Larry Marley; children, Nikolaus Marley, 26, Mikael Marley, 23, and Sarah Marley, 23; grandchildren, Hayli Marley, 3, and Carson Marley, 1. She is also survived by her parents, Richard Nauert and Norma Nauert; brother, Larry Nauert; sister, Judy Cooper; and a nephew, Zachary Griswald, 25. She was preceded in death by her brother, Ron Nauert, and brother-in-law, Billy Cooper.
