The Wolves picked up their lone win in second doubles as Brian Norris and Kyle Bodamer rallied for a 5-7, 6-3, 10-6 win over Will Corrin and Sean Underwood.

First doubles also produced a thrilling finish. The Owls Andrew Gavrila and Rich Chavez prevailed over Ben Etzell and Aaron Curtin 2-6, 7-6(7-3), 10-8.

In third doubles, Coupeville’s Brandon Kelley and Jake McCormick fell to Tony Lee and Colin Sapp 6-2, 6-4.

In singles action, Overlake’s Grant Gibson defeated Sebastian Davis in the No. 1 slot 6-1, 6-0.

Pranav Harikrishnan took second singles from Coupeville’s Dalton Martin 6-0, 6-1.

Coupeville picked up a win in the exhibition No. 5 doubles match from Connor McCormick and Loren Nelson.

The Wolves (0-5) will shoot for their first win when they go to Everett at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8, to meet Archbishop Murphy (1-2). The Wildcats nipped Coupeville 3-2 Sept. 18.
