Woman’s sentence still too harsh

In the last issue I wrote a letter about Carol Magee’s case of malicious mischief for running into a transformer. I was reacting to some incorrect information that I had received. I still think that Carol’s sentence of 30 days in jail is too severe. However, it turns out the power was still on when she hit the transformer and she did knock out the power to several families. I think Carol is confused about the easement situation, and I don’t think 30 days in jail is going to clear anything up for her. Her actions did cause harm to others however by knocking out their power.
