I was saddened to read Jill Yomnick’s extremely cynical response to the Freedom Foundation’s Informed Voter Guide (included in a past edition of this newspaper). Rather than respond to the content — factual information about important issues like the state budget and education — she suggests that others join in her personal conspiracy theories. I guess that’s one way to avoid considering the facts and having an honest debate. For our part, the Freedom Foundation never tells anyone how to vote. We simply believe all citizens should make informed decisions as we participate in the democratic process.
