Police respond to reports of guns and birds

The Coupeville Town Marshal’s Office responded to the following calls: Monday, April 14 7:59 a.m., a caller reported a driver in a silver PT Cruiser was swerving over the line on State Highway 525 at Admirals Drive.

7:59 a.m., a caller reported a driver in a silver PT Cruiser was swerving over the line on State Highway 525 at Admirals Drive.

11:15 a.m., a caller reported an iPod stolen at Coupeville High School.

Wednesday, April 16

10:26 a.m., a caller reported seeing a fender bender earlier in the day at South Main Street and State Highway 20.

Thursday, April 17

8:15 a.m., a caller reported someone broke into a building on Northeast Haller Street, but no items were missing.

10:01 a.m., a caller on Northwest Oakmont Street reported losing immigration papers that were last used sometime last year.

Friday, April 18

2:47 p.m., an on-duty police officer called requesting information about a wanted man.

Saturday, April 19

9:58 a.m., a caller on Northeast Kinney Street reported hearing neighbors screaming at one another.

10:57 a.m., a caller at the Island County Sheriff’s Office reported an inmate was assaulted by another inmate.

11:37 a.m., a caller on Northwest Sixth Street reported their adult daughter was at their home acting bizarre and they are afraid to tell her to leave because she has a history of becoming violent when asked to leave previously.

3:15 p.m., a caller at Highway 20 and Squire Road reported someone was shooting guns and birds were flying overhead.
