So this Island County commissioner’s family is taking a hike on the Kettles Trail and a dyslexic and drunk hunter accidentally shoots and kills the commissioner, wife or child, your choice.
After several hours of mourning the commissioner’s family decides to file a lawsuit against Island County for $100 million, claiming the area should not have been approved for hunting.
My questions are do we, the taxpayers, have insurance to cover this?
If the commissioner had voted to approve the hunting can he still sue?
