Mark your calendars — Whidbey bazaars start Nov. 1

THURSDAY, NOV. 1

OSC: 6-9 p.m., Officers’ Club, includes doorprizes and contest items. Admission $2. Door and contest items proceeds go to OSC scholarship and charity funds. Contest previews at Navy Exchange Oct. 20 and 27. Donations for baked goods go to Sept. 11 disaster relief. Non-military ID cardholders are welcome but must accompany a military member/spouse and present valid driver’s license to enter the base.

NOV. 2 & 3

Oak Harbor Senior Center: Friday, 6-9 p.m., Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Call 679-6620.

SATURDAY, NOV. 3

Concordia Lutheran Church: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., 590 N Oak Harbor Street. Crafts, baked goods, new and used items. Lunch served 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Proceeds to mission projects and disaster relief.

First Reformed Church: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., 250 SW Third Ave. Wreaths, swags, crafts, baked goods, soups for freezer. Homemade soup, bread and pie served 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Oak Harbor Middle School: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Soup, salad and nachos served 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Call Teresa Kenworthy, Oak Harbor Middle School PTA, 675-3524.

NOV. 9 & 10

Oak Harbor Emblem Club: 5-9 p.m., Friday; 9 a.m. to 2, p.m. Saturday. Elks Lodge, 155 NE Ernst Street. Soup, chili and pies served Saturday.
