Social Security funds raided
Why is money intended for Social Security still being directed into a general fund? This general fund is an open box to all who need money. Social Security belongs to the retirees who had funds deducted from their paychecks every payday while they worked. That deduction was called Social Security and by any other name, it is still Social Security. It should not be used for any other purpose. To do so is against the law. In legal terms it is called misappropriation of funds. In a court of law you could go to jail for this act.
Our Congress has told us that our Social Security is very short on assets, so short that there will be little left for future retirees. It escapes me as to the reason that our Congress allows this pilfering of money that belongs to someone else, especially since there is so little to spare. Our representatives have promised us that they are going to stop using Social Security as a grab bag for anyone who needs a money fix.
I’m sure there are other citizens who are as upset as I am at this pilfering of funds that don’t belong to them and as our representatives they will see this error, then take appropriate action to curtail this embezzlement of our assets.
