Coupeville Middle School presents “Princess Finds a Way,” March 8 and 9 and 7 p.m. Princess Megan, played by Mackenzie Turner, is told that her father, the King, has planned a contest to determine whom she will marry and whom will take control of the kingdom. Intent on controlling her own destiny, she enters the contest disguised as a man, determined to win! With the help of her two wacky aunts, Kayla Brown and Lisa Datin, and the audience, she turns the tables on a cheating contestant. Her plan is complicated by young Prince Alexander, played by Shane Washington on Friday night and Tom Rogers on Saturday, with whom she seems to be falling in love. Despite her feelings for Prince Alexander, and the cheater’s schemes, she remains steadfast in her desire to win the contest and take charge of her future. Also in the cast are; Mike Bagby who will keep you laughing with his portrayal of the conniving, cheating Lord Sylvester, Kyle King as Clyde, Sylvester’s unwilling compliance, Bryan Sherman as Lord Chancellor, Shane Washington as the Royal Court Jester. Paige Mueller and Michelle Sullivan are the Royal Maidens. Coupeville High school student, Meghan Tucker is assistant director. Admission is free.
