Nutrition: Low salt food supplies needed

Does anyone know a source of low salt/sodium food?

Does anyone know a source of low salt/sodium food?

The dietitian at Whidbey General said, as an example, we should buy soup with less than 140 mg of sodium. She does not know where on the island we can obtain such low sodium foods.

Every can of soup I checked at Safeway and Payless contained 350 to 1,000 or more mg of sodium. A health food store in Oak Harbor only had a low sodium chicken broth used to make soup. My wife tried it and it was quite good.

Any help from anyone is appreciated.
