A lack of common sense is evident in those who think doing away with guns will eliminate any crime. Doing away with criminals is what they should be clamoring for.

Depriving honest, law abiding people from gun ownership would mean only criminals would have guns. Look at what happened in Australia when they banned gun ownership. Only the law abiding people turned them in and crime shot up 40 percent. Why is that? Does it mean laws are only for the law abiding and not criminals? Unless we start punishing criminals, instead of persecuting the innocent, things won’t change.
