A 47-year-old Oak Harbor woman accused of repeatedly violating a court order is facing a felony charge, according to court documents.
Prosecutors charged Julie Daugherty in Island County Superior Court June 6 with the violation of a no-contact, protection or restraining order. A violation of such an order becomes a felony on the third or subsequent conviction.
She pleaded not guilty June 18.
On June 2, a North Whidbey resident reported that Daugherty had been driving up and down his road and stopped in the driveway once, even though he had a anti-harassment order against her, the affidavit of probable cause reports. The 70-year-old man took a photo of Daughterty stopped on the edge of his driveway, the report states.
Also, the man said Daugherty has been leaving cards and notes at his home, according to the report.
