Here’s the schedule, beginning with the carnival which is expected to begin operating Thursday afternoon.

Friday, April 29

All-day family carnival.

5 to 7 p.m., Dutch Dinner at First Reformed Church, SW Third Street. Public is welcome to the traditional Dutch meal. Adults $8; students (12-19) $6; children under 12 $4. Call 675-4837.

7:45 to 11 p.m., Whidbey Whirlers Trail-In Square Dance at Oak Harbor High School, Parker Hall, 950 NW Second Ave. Public welcome.

Saturday, April 30

All-day family carnival.

All-day Oak Harbor School District artwalk.

7 to 11 a.m., Fire District 2 pancake breakfast at 2720 N. Heller Road. Adults $5; children 6-11 $2; under 6 are free. Call 675-1131.

Eagle Run at City Beach Park. Starts at A-6 display; 7:30 a.m. start for 5k run; 8 a.m. start for one mile run. Call 675-1131 or www.eaglerun.org.

10 a.m. to 5 p.m., street fair, food booths, quilt walk.

9:30 to 10:30 a.m., Whidbey Whirlers Dangle Dance at the Main Stage on Pioneer Way.

11 a.m., Parade sponsored by Wells Fargo.

1 to 5 p.m., Dutch Shoe Carver Elmer Veldheer from Holland, Mich., carves klompen on Pioneer Way. Sponsored by Oak Harbor Travel and Auld Holland Inn.

1 to 5 p.m., International Dance Festival.

8 p.m., adult dance at Roller Barn with Tony and the Tigers.

Sunday, May 1

All-day family carnival.

All-day Oak Harbor School District Artwalk.

10 a.m. to 5 p.m., street fair, food booths, quilt walk and Dutch shoe carving.

Whidbey Island Mustang Club’s 13th annual car show at Whidbey Island Ford, Highway 20 at Pioneer Way.

10 a.m. to noon, Whidbey Whirlers Travel-Out Dance, Oak Harbor High School, Parker Hall, 950 NW Second Ave. Public welcome.

Noon, lawn mower races at rodeo grounds off Fakkema Road.

Noon to 3 p.m., Oak Harbor Yacht Club Opening Day.

12:30 to 4 p.m., International Dance Festival.

3 p.m., Klompen Canal Race.
