Kristy Lang Miller is running for re-election as Whidbey General Hospital District 5 cCommissioner, a position she has served in for over nine years. In that time, she has worked to serve the community that she grew up in. Not only should her time and efforts serving on the hospital board be commended; but, her time serving on other community boards such as the Community Health Advisory Board and the Environmental Health Assessment Team should be recognized.

I have engaged with Ms. Miller on each of the boards and have witnessed her compassion and caring for this community. She is not a single-issue candidate. She has worked to represent the citizens of Island County on many matters without a personal interest or gain beyond serving the community.

I support our hospital and its staff. I support the role our citizens are able to play in making Whidbey General Hospital “our” hospital. I support Kristy Lang Miller and the other board members who have served for as commissioners for for these many years.
