Oak Harbor’s Nick Krantz placed second and Haven Brown fourth at the Wesco North divisional boys golf tournament Wednesday, May 9, at Marysville’s Cedarcrest Golf Course.
As a team, the Wildcats finished fourth out of seven schools.
Krantz shot a 76 on the par 70 course, and Brown carded a 78.
Everett’s Josef Koznek led the field of 37 with a 73.
Everett took the team title with 400 strokes, followed by Arlington (420), Snohomish (421), Oak Harbor (436) and Marysville Getchell (514). Stanwood and Marysville-Pilchuck did not qualify for a team score.
Following Krantz and Brown in the Wildcat lineup were Nick Whitley (86), Nate Thompson (96), Wyatt Bright (100) and Billy Titzkowski (102).
Oak Harbor will play in the district tournament at 11 a.m. May 14 and 16 at the Battle Creek Golf Course in Marysville.
