The Coupeville High School cheer team will compete in the state tournament Friday and Saturday, Feb. 1 and 2, at Battle Ground High School.
The Wolves earned a spot in the competition by posting a state-qualifying score at a meet earlier this season.
Coupeville, which returned to competitive cheer after a seven-year break, will participate in the small game day division at state.
“We have done so well,” coach BreAnna Boon said. “They upped their scores by over 30 points this competition season.
“You can’t even imagine how excited we all are.”
