King’s continued its dominance in North Sound Conference soccer by blanking Coupeville High School 10-0 Tuesday, Sept. 17, in Shoreline.
The Knights, who are regular recipients when state trophies are handed out, upped their season record to 3-1 (2-0 in league play) with the win; Coupeville fell to 0-3 (0-1).
Meg Travis recorded a hat trick for King’s, and Taylor Faris scored twice and Peri Welch had a goal and four assists.
Coupeville played without its leading scorer, Genna Wright, and its starting goalkeeper, Mollie Bailey.
The Wolves travel to Sultan (0-1, 0-3) for a 7 p.m. match Thursday, Sept. 19.
