Eagles take down Wolves / Soccer

Cedar Park Christian stopped the Coupeville High School soccer team 5-0 Thursday, Oct. 17, in Bothell on a wet and windy night.

The Wolves (1-7, 1-10-2) are still tied with Sultan for fifth place and the final playoff spot in the North Sound Conference.

Coupeville closes out the regular season with two 6 p.m. matches next week. First, the Wolves go to first-place South Whidbey (8-0, 12-0-1) on Monday, Oct. 21, and then they host Granite Falls (3-5, 6-7) Wednesday, Oct. 23.

If Coupeville and Sultan are still tied for fifth at the end of the regular season, the two teams will play a tie-breaker at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 24, at Mickey Clark Field.
