Teresa Ann Eggland, age 51, of Coupeville, Wash., passed away on Sept. 26, 2019, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Teresa was born on Jan. 18, 1968, in Woodinville Wash., to Raymond and Elizabeth (Betty) Eggland.
She graduated with an AA in human services and chemical dependency in 2012. She also trained to be a paralegal.
Teresa did lawn mower repair at a shop in Greenbank, Wash. She loved her job and her customers. She was proud to be able to say that she was a girl who could repair your lawn mower like new.
Teresa volunteered at the Oak Harbor Help House food bank. Teresa also helped start a chapter of People First with disabilities on Whidbey Island. She loved those young adults.
She loved life. She enjoyed fishing, going to the beaches and just sitting and enjoying the scenery.
Teresa enjoyed meeting new people and helping them. She was very generous with her time and help.
She had a great sense of humor and loved to play pranks.
Teresa was a peace maker and a person who would take the time to chat with a complete stranger.
She will be very missed. Teresa was preceded in death by her father Raymond Eggland, son Jeremey, daughter Chelsea and sister Ramoa Iwanchok.
Teresa leaves behind a fiancee, Richard A Stroter Jr.; her mother; two daughters, Rebecca and Felicia; granddaughter Harmony; and grandson Craig, whom she loved with all her heart.
She also leaves behind three brothers, Richard, Jim and Dan; two sisters, Susan Venables and Janet Barth; and many other extended family members.
A memorial will be announced at a later date
