Chris Craig passed away Nov 9, 2020, after a 20-year battle with MS.
Born July 7, 1966, in Limestone, Maine, to parents Mike and Gloria Craig, he soon became a traveling man. They lived in Germany, Mississippi, Anchorage, then settled on Whidbey Island, Wash., where he graduated with the class of 1985.
He then continued to Florida, where he received a degree in audio engineering, which sent him traveling the U.S. filming and photographing ballroom dancing.
Loving the outdoors, he later returned to Alaska, where he was preceded in death by his father Mike.
In 2001, he came back to Whidbey to be with his mother after learning of his diagnosis with MS. He spent his last two years at View Ridge Center in Everett, Wash., where he was cared for before his passing.
Chris is survived by his mother Gloria Craig, of Clinton, and aunts and uncles Joan Rutherford, of Freeland, Wash.; Clark Goldthorp and Shirley and John Huffine, of Clinton, Wash.; and Mike and Jaimie Shenaman, of Laurier, Wash.
A son, nephew, cousin and friend to many, he will be greatly missed by all.
