Coupeville’s volleyball team tuned up for the start of conference play next week by topping Overlake 3-1 Wednesday night in Coupeville.
The Wolves won 26-24, 27-29, 25-19, 25-15. Although Coupeville dropped the second set, coach Toni Crebbin said it was the turning point of the game. “We fought back from being down; we didn’t roll over and die.” She said the momentum of the comeback carried her team through the next two games.
