Mount Baker scored at least 20 points in each of the first three quarters to cruise by the Coupeville High School boys basketball team 78-40 Monday, Dec. 8, in Deming.
Picking up its first win of the season, the Coupeville High School boys basketball team throttled visiting Darrington 72-41 Friday, Dec. 5.

The Coupeville High School boys basketball team struggled to pick up wins the past three seasons. Young players were forced into varsity action before they were ready because of the lack of talent among the older players, and the results were predictable.
Youth is no longer a concern for the Coupeville High School girls basketball team.
Looking ahead to the winter season, Coupeville High School cheer coach Cheridan Eck said, “We may have a smaller team but we will pack a big punch.”
The Coupeville High School athletic teams wrapped up the fall season by presenting letters and special awards.
