After a relaxed summer of reading, Oak Harbor’s Highly Evolved Literary League is gearing up for some page-turning action.
The group will hold its next discussion on Thursday, Sept. 22 at 6 p.m. at the Oak Harbor Library.
The choice for September is “My Invented Country: A nostalgic journey through Chile,” by Isabel Allende. Copies are available at the library now for checkout. The audiobook is also available on CD.
The choice for October is “Animal, Vegetable, Miracle” by Barbara Kingsolver.
Organizers say all are welcome. Call 675-5115 or go to www.sno-isle.org for information.
