Enjoy a frightfully good time in the great outdoors with Crescent Harbor Adventures as they lead an all-day hike up to Heybrook Lookout on Saturday, Oct. 22.

The short, moderately steep climb will reveal views of Mount Index, Mount Persis and Mount Baring. Those participating will also see Bridal Veil Falls.

The afternoon will include an exploration of Wellington, the site of America’s worst avalanche disaster. Members of the Northwest Paranormal Investigation Agency will share the history and tales of the unsettled spirits that linger there.

The hike is designed for the aspiring ghost hunter and railroad buffs. Deadline to register is Thursday, Oct. 20. Cost is $34 for adults, youth ages 10 to 17 are $17.
