The Impaired Driving Impact Panel of Island County has scheduled its Driving Under the Influence/Underage Drinking prevention panels for August on Whidbey Island.

The next South Whidbey panel will be held Aug. 6 at Trinity Lutheran Church, in the old building right on Highway 525 in Freeland. Arrive by 12:45 p.m. to assure a seat.

North Whidbey panels are scheduled for Aug. 9 and Aug. 13 at conference room 137, down the hall from the Oak Harbor Library. Arrive by 6:45 p.m. on Aug. 9 and by 12:45 p.m. on Aug. 13 to be sure of a spot.

Local driver education instructors require both students and parents to attend a DUI/Underage Drinking prevention panel.
