There will be a virtual career fair for military spouses from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, May 6.

Milicruit.com, which partners with dozens of military-friendly employers, is hosting the event in conjunction with First Lady Michelle Obama’s and Dr. Jill Biden’s Joining Forces Initiative.

The career fair presents an opportunity for spouses to meet and interact with employers without having to leave their home.

The fair is free to all military spouses. Anyone interested can register to participate at www.mili

The Joining Forces Initiative is a national effort to provide service members and their families opportunities and support in several areas, including employment, education and wellness.

For military spouses in particular, frequent transfers to new duty stations can make it difficult to continue in a career or to find similar jobs in new locations
