The Veteran’s Resource Center (VRC) will be hosting it’s third annual “Veteran’s Stand Down. Designed to demonstrate support and provide assistance to our magnificent veterans, the event will begin 9 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 3 in the Community Activities Center at American Legion Post 141 in Bayview. BBQ and live music will be available while representatives from the Seattle Veteran’s Affairs office staff register service members who have not previously enrolled. Vendors will also supply items and services, and informational booths on health, housing, education, finance and employment will also be present.
