Sailors set to become chiefs

Chief — Chief Petty Officer (CPO) Selectees from Naval Air Station Whidbey Island pause to sing “Anchors Aweigh” in front the command headquarters building during an early morning physical fitness run today on the flight line. Eighty-five Sailors from throughout the base will pin on Chief anchors on Sept. 16, 2015, during a formal ceremony at the Skywarrior Theater. They are currently undergoing CPO 365 Phase II leadership training. All First Class Petty Officers go through Phase I training year-round. (U.S. Navy Photo by Tony Popp)
