The Island County Astronomical Society is holding a star party Friday, Dec. 2, beginning at dark at Fort Nugent Park in Oak Harbor.

Explore the night sky and view distant galaxies, planets and nebulas at this free public event.

No telescope is needed and people of all ages are welcome to attend.
