The Oak Harbor Area Council of the Navy League will present a Veterans Day program at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 11 at the Oak Harbor High School Student Union Building.

The theme for this year’s event honors the ‘greatest generation’ and is entitled “Remembering Pear Harbor — 70 Years Later.” All veterans, retired, active duty and reservists and their families are invited to attend.

The program will features the OHHS Navy Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps color guard; music by the First United Methodist Church Choir, the Daybreak Trio, Oak Harbor High School Harbor Singers, All-Island Community Band and The Brass Menagerie. Mayor Jim Slowik will also participate.
